Revell 1/72 T-72 M1 Soviet Battle T
The Soviet T-72 was one of the most important Warsaw Pact battle tanks and had a world-wide distribution. It was impressive due to its innovations, reliability and above all due to its capable weapons system. In 1979 the T-72A appeared with its improved armour and a laser range finder. The East German army received their T-72M1s, the export version of the T-72A from 1987 onwards.
After the reunification of Germany 90 of these were transferred to Finland. The Iraqi T-72s were unable to demonstrate their strengths in the Gulf War due to bad leadership and quickly fell victim to the American combat units.

Revell 1/72 M48AG2GA2
Its upgrade potential ensured that the M48 Patton battle tank remained in service from the mid 1950s onwards. Not only in the US but also in the German army it formed the backbone of the armoured artillery for many long years, until it would later be equipped with a 105 mm cannon (M48 A2GA2) even after the Leopard 2 had been built.
It would be difficult to imagine the wars between the Arabs and the Israelis without it. In the latest A5 version it was at least equal to its successor the M60.

Revell 1/72 Pzkpfw V Panther
The G version was the variant of the Pzkpfw V "Panther" battle tank produced in greatest numbers and it superseded the A version from 1944 onwards. The chassis was of a better design and further improvements were continually incorporated in production. The final version of the tank had an altered engine deck and the shape of the cylindrical mount mantlet was different.
With its 7,5 cm 42 L/70 cannon and missile deflecting shape the Panther proved to be a dangerous opponent. The V 12 cylinder Maybach HL 230P30 petrol engine with a maximum capacity of 700 HP gave the 44,800 kg heavy Panther G a maximum speed of 55 km/h. It had a crew of five.
