Revell Star Wars X-Wing Fighter Sna
This is the most important rebel alliance fighter and one of the most powerful single-seat space ships ever produced. The T-65 X-wing Fighter owes its name to the double wings one above the other that form an X in combat in order to increase the firing range of the pilot. In addition to four high-energy laser cannon the X-wing Fighter has proton torpedoes, deflector shields, hyper drive and a navigation droid.
Luke Skywalker prefers this type of fighter. It was used by the young Jedi to destroy the first Death Star in the Battle of Yavin. The X-wing Fighter quickly proved to be one of the most effective military aircraft in the galaxy. The unusual wing design of the T-65 is frequently regarded as the success formula of the space ship. The pair of twin wings remains closed during normal flights under the speed of light. In combat and on entry into the atmosphere of a planet, they can be extended. On the wing tips are high-energy laser cannon that can be fired singly, simultaneously, in pairs or in other combinations.

Revell Millennium Falcon Snap Toget
This Corellian transporter is one of the fastest and best equipped spacecraft in the galaxy. The Millenium Falcon may look like an old wreck, but continual modifications have made it into something special. The Falcon played an important role in the destruction of both battle stars and is probably the most famous ship in the galaxy.
Inside the ship, which is twenty seven metres long, is a hyperdrive, that gives it almost double the speed of any imperial star cruiser. The heavily armoured Falcon has an illegal sensor bank that can track imperial craft at great distances before they become aware of the Falcon. The craft enters into battle with the latest imperial deflector system, two quad laser cannon and two disruptors.

The A400M is a newly developed cargo and transport aircraft designed for use by the European NATO States which also meets the international requirements of the various Air Forces.
As a replacement for the C-130 and C-160 it can carry more than twice the payload and can take-off and land on unprepared airfields.
Thirty percent of the fuselage consists of composite fibre materials. The first production aircraft - MSN007 was handed over to the French Air Force in August 2013. Its first operational use was a flight to Mali at the end of December 2013.
The aircraft can for example carry 116 soldiers, or two Unimog 2450L or 2 Eurocopter Tiger attack helicopters. It is also possible to dispatch paratroopers and cargo on parachutes as well as to install military MedEvac hospital equipment to move or repatriate injured personnel.
It has an in-flight refuelling probe which can significantly increase its range. By 2020 the German Air Force aims to station forty aircraft at Wunstorf airfield with Aviation Transport Squadron 62.

The largest and heaviest US fighter of World War II was the P-61. It was initially developed specifically as a night fighter. Its vast arsenal consisted of a rotating gun turret with four 50 calibre machine guns and four 20 mm cannon in the belly-pod. Due to the black paint finish, it received the nickname Black Widow .
The Northrop company began preparation of for mass production in 1941 still during the design and development phase of the two prototypes. Production of a total of 726 P-61's ran from August 1943 and included more than 13 variants.
The 6th Night Fighter Squadron undertook its first missions in the Pacific theatre starting in May 1944. The 422nd NFS received their first machines in England a short time later. In July 1944, Northrop began series production of a total 450 P-61B's with a more powerful radar and a radar warning device at the rear.
250 of these aircraft were fitted with a turret originally designed for the B-29. A total of 128 aerial victories by the P-61 have been officially recognized. Four of them are still preserved today.

Revell 1/32 Bristol Beaufighter Mk.
to see more images.
The Bristol Beaufighter was one of the most successful and effective night fighters of World War 2. With the outbreak of the War the German Luftwaffe undertook intensified night raids on Britain. The RAF needed therefore to find an effective system of defence.
The Beaufighter Mk IF, based on the Bristol Beaufort bomber but with more powerful engines, became available from the summer of 1940.
Its speed, size and heavy armament combined with a highly secretive new surveillance radar made the Beaufighter a very effective night fighter. The first victim (a Ju88) was shot down on 19 November 1940.
The enormous fire-power came from six machine guns in the wings and four 20mm cannon under the nose. The Japanese nicknamed the Beaufighter The Whispering Death because of its relatively quiet attack profile. More than 5,800 Beaufighter's were produced, including 364 for the Royal Australian Air Force

Revell 1/4105 Battlestar Galactica
A Battlestar is a Colonial super battleship that combines the capabilities of an aircraft carrier with those of a warship. The Galactica is one of the first twelve of these Battlestars, which were built at the beginning of the first Cylon War, each one representing one of the twelve colonies. The Galactica which is about 50 years old and over 1400 m long, as the last of her type in service with the Colonial Fleet is about to be decommissioned when the Cylons launch another attack 40 years after the first attack on the twelve colonies.
In addition to the more modern Pegasus the Galactica survived the fall of the twelve colonies, the destruction of the fleet and the other 120 Battlestars. Before the attack the Galactica was a member of Battlestar Group 75 - BSG-75, but after that undertook the protection of the last survivors of the Twelve Colonies during their flight to the distant legendary 13th colony.
